Mona Ennd, Sanitation Supervisor
Q: Tell us about yourself.
A: My name is Ramona, but I go by the nickname “Mona.” I have close to 20 years of experience in food manufacturing at several companies. I have a wonderful partner of 18 years and a sweet dog named Pup Pup who is 13 years old. I reside in Northern Baltimore County, Maryland. My father was in the Navy for 10 years, and I was born in Roda, Spain while my father was stationed there. My family now resides in Maryland and New York.
Q: What is your favorite part of your role here at Fuchs so far?
A: My role here at Fuchs is supervisor of sanitation. I enjoy the human interaction in my position and guiding my team to succeed.
Q: What are you most looking forward to about your role here?
A: I see a great future for us with a team that is focused and on task.
Q: What food trends are you most excited about in 2021?
A: My favorite food trends this year are cooking at home and new plant-based products to choose from.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: My favorite food is sushi! I love raw fresh salmon and avocado roll.
Q: Is there anything else you would like our customers and fellow employees to know about you?
A: I am committed to provide a sanitized clean and safe environment here at Fuchs so that we can supply fresh spices and seasonings to our customers daily!
Sean Placide, PMP, Ingredient Buyer
Q: Tell us about yourself.
A: I moved to Hampstead from Baltimore in January 2021 with my wife, Megan. My background is in sales in the aerospace industry, and I previous worked for SKF, Inc. in Hanover, PA for 5 years. I graduated from Towson University in 2016. I’m also a Ravens fan and fishing enthusiast.
Q: What is your favorite part of your role here at Fuchs so far?
A: Everyone here has been so friendly and welcoming. It is a great environment that is noticeable straight away!
Q: What are you most looking forward to about your role here?
A: I am most looking forward to transitioning from sales to purchasing for the complete supply chain experience! It will, of course, be interesting to see how the other half lives…
Q: What food trends are you most excited about in 2021?
A: There are lots of plant-based protein options out there that are gaining traction, which opens up possibilities for all kinds of interesting dishes and opportunities for people with dietary restrictions to experience more foods.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: I’m probably the least picky person you may meet… I’ve never tried any foods that I didn’t enjoy!
