Seasonal Sensations—Featured Recipes
It’s no secret that consumers of all ages crave flavors of the season like pumpkin and apple! We’re featuring two of our favorite seasoning blends with a twist. Check out our pumpkin pie blend with a hint of hot cinnamon whiskey or our baked apple pie seasoning in a traditional cinnamon roll! These craveable combinations are sure to be a hit at your holiday gatherings.
Hot Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie Seasoning (M10082)
Ingredients:
3/4 cup Fuchs seasoning
2 large eggs
1 can (15 ounces) 100% Pure Pumpkin
1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell (choose one with a 4-cup filling volume)
Preparation:
1). Whisk Eggs
2). Add seasoning and pumpkin to eggs and mix thoroughly
3). Slowly mix in evaporated milk and pour mix into pie shell
4). Bake for 15 min at 425^F, lower oven to 350^F and bake for additional 30-40 minutes
Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls (M10093)
Ingredients:
Dough:
1 can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough or 1 recipe of an enriched dough of your choice
Filling Recipe:
1 stick of butter (113g), softened
4 Tbsp Apple Pie Seasoning
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Flour
Preparation:
- Beat all filling ingredients together with an electric mixer until well combined and fluffy
- Roll out dough into a 0.5” thick rectangle
- Spread on rolled out dough leaving a 0.5” gap on the far end
- Roll up dough along the long edge into a log
- Cut into equal sized 2-3” tall rolls
- Place in a buttered baking dish and bake according to the dough package or recipe’s instructions
