With Mintel reporting that 37% of consumers associate Asian cuisine with the word ‘comforting,’ we decided to focus our new collection on Korean classics that provide comfort but deliver bold flavor experiences as well.

Gochujang Grilled Cheese

An American classic taken to the next level, our Gochujang Grilled Cheese Seasoning is exploding with flavor. It is perfectly balanced with savory, sweet, and spicy notes from ingredients like chili peppers, kimchi, and tomatoes. Once this delicious seasoning is combined with creamy cheese and toasted between two slices of bread, consumers will quickly become obsessed with this new take on a delicious comfort food.

Scallion Cakes

You can’t go wrong with our savory and salty Scallion Cakes Seasoning. According to Mintel, scallion cakes have grown 13% on menus between Q3 2020 and Q3 2021, making this seasoning all the more appealing to trend-conscious consumers. Made with a base of rice flour, this seasoning blend contains minced dehydrated scallion, adding subtle texture to the crispy cake. From an appetizer to a side dish, this Korean classic is sure to become a staple in consumers’ homes.

Spicy Garlic Eggplant

Traditionally referred to as Gaji-muchim, our Spicy Garlic Eggplant Seasoning features bold notes of Korean red pepper and green onion. Its craveable heat builds, while it also has a rich umami taste from fish and soy sauce flavors. Our new seasoning makes a perfect side dish for any Korean meal!

Gochujang Grilled Cheese

Gochujang Grilled Cheese

Ingredients: 1/3C Gochujang Grilled Cheese Seasoning, 2/3C Kewpie Mayo, ½ C Shredded Gruyere, Gouda, and Monterey Jack , 2 slices of bread, Butter
Instructions
  1. Blend 1 part seasoning with 2 parts Kewpie Mayo in a bowl
  2. In a separate bowl take a blend of your meltable cheeses and mix with the 1 heaping TBSP of mayo spread per sandwich
  3. Heat a nonstick pan or Comal to medium heat
  4. Butter outside of bread slices, spread the cheese mixture on one piece of the bread and cover to make a sandwich. *make sure the buttered side is facing out*
  5. Grill until bread is browned and cheese is melted
  6. Remove from heat and allow to set for 1-2 minutes before slicing and serving
