Organic Key Lime Pie Donuts

Ingredients:

Donut Holes

  • 360 All-purpose Flour
  • 130g Organic Key Lime Pie Seasoning
  • 22.5g Baking Powder
  • 1 Lg. Egg
  • 230g Cold Tap Water
  • 50g Sunflower Oil

Donut Sugar

  • 100g Dextrose
  • 100g Sifted Powdered Sugar
  • 50g Organic Key Lime Pie Seasoning

 Steps:

  1. Preheat deep fryer to 350f.
  2. Add dry ingredients to mixing bowl and mix on low speed for 3 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, add water, oil, and eggs to a bowl. Lightly whisk to combine.
  4. Add liquid ingredients to the dry and mix on speed 3 for 3 minutes.
  5. Using very small ice cream scoop and palette knife, scoop the batter, level it off, and drop into the fryer.
  6. Dip scoop into the fryer after every other donut to avoid sticking. Fry about 8-10 at a time.
  7. Using a wooden stick, keep the donuts moving for an even fry.
  8. Fry for 3 minutes. Place on a cooling rack.
  9. Put donuts in a bag with donut sugar and toss.
