Fried Mac & Cheese Bites

Ingredients:

38.65g Fuchs Mac & Cheese Seasonings

161.00g Noodles/Pasta

2TBSP Margarine/Butter

1/2 cup Milk

4 Eggs

2 cups Panko Bread Crumbs

Steps:

  1. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8-9 minutes stirring occasionally.
  2. Drain Pasta but do not rinse.  Return pasta to pan.  Add Mac & Cheese Seasoning.
  3. Add  Margarine / Butter and Milk as desired. Return to heat and cook until desired thickness.
  4. Place macaroni and cheese into a cookie sheet or cake pan and refrigerator until firm, about 3-4 hours.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a large stockpot or Dutch oven over medium high heat to 350*F
  6. Using a small cookie scoop, roll macaroni and cheese into 1 1/4-to-1 1/2-inch balls, forming about 12.
  7. Working one at a time, dip balls into eggs, then dredge in Panko, pressing to coat.
  8. Working in batches, add balls to the Dutch oven and cook until evenly golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  9. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
  10. Serve immediately, garnished with chives, if desired.
