Sweet Potato Pie Donuts

Ingredients:

Donut:

  • 2 3/4 C all-purpose flour
  • 1 C Sweet Potato Pie seasoning
  • 1 3/4 TBSP baking powder
  • 1 extra-large Egg
  • 1 C cold tap water
  • 3 1/4 TBSP sunflower oil

Donut Sugar:

  • 1/2 C dextrose
  • 3/4 C sifted powdered sugar
  • 6 TBSP Sweet Potato Pie seasoning

Steps:

  1. Preheat deep fryer to 350f.
  2. Add dry ingredients to mixing bowl and mix on low speed for 3 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, add water, oil, and eggs to a bowl. Lightly whisk to combine.
  4. Add liquid ingredients to the dry and mix on speed 3 for 3 minutes
  5. Using very small ice cream scoop and palette knife, scoop the batter, level it off, and drop into the fryer.
  6. Dip scoop into the fryer after every other donut to avoid sticking. Fry about 8-10 at a time.
  7. Using a wooden stick, keep the donuts moving for an even fry.
  8. Fry for 3 minutes. Place on a cooling rack.
  9. Put donuts in a bag with donut sugar and toss.

 

Sweet Potato Pie Milkshake

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 C vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 C milk
  • 2 TBSP sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 TBSP Sweet Potato Pie seasoning

Steps:

  1. Blend everything together in a blender.
  2. Pour into your favorite glass and sip through a straw!
