Sweet Potato Pie Donuts
Ingredients:
Donut:
- 2 3/4 C all-purpose flour
- 1 C Sweet Potato Pie seasoning
- 1 3/4 TBSP baking powder
- 1 extra-large Egg
- 1 C cold tap water
- 3 1/4 TBSP sunflower oil
Donut Sugar:
- 1/2 C dextrose
- 3/4 C sifted powdered sugar
- 6 TBSP Sweet Potato Pie seasoning
Steps:
- Preheat deep fryer to 350f.
- Add dry ingredients to mixing bowl and mix on low speed for 3 minutes.
- Meanwhile, add water, oil, and eggs to a bowl. Lightly whisk to combine.
- Add liquid ingredients to the dry and mix on speed 3 for 3 minutes
- Using very small ice cream scoop and palette knife, scoop the batter, level it off, and drop into the fryer.
- Dip scoop into the fryer after every other donut to avoid sticking. Fry about 8-10 at a time.
- Using a wooden stick, keep the donuts moving for an even fry.
- Fry for 3 minutes. Place on a cooling rack.
- Put donuts in a bag with donut sugar and toss.
Sweet Potato Pie Milkshake
Ingredients:
- 3/4 C vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 C milk
- 2 TBSP sweetened condensed milk
- 2 TBSP Sweet Potato Pie seasoning
Steps:
- Blend everything together in a blender.
- Pour into your favorite glass and sip through a straw!
